Tuberculosis
Eight persons died from tuberculosis during 1960, giving a death
rate of 0.11 per 1,000 population.
Twenty-six new cases were notified and this figure equals that of
1959, when the lowest number per year of new notifications were
recorded. The case rate per 1,000 population was 0.37.
One child under school age and two children of school age were
found to be suffering from tuberculosis of the lungs.
