this, and I thank the family doctors of Finchley ; their co-operation
and assistance is greatly appreciated. To further this aim I have
devoted a section of this Report (see page 66) to cover as many as
possible of the statutory and voluntary services available in the
Borough. No doubt there are omissions with regard to the voluntary
bodies, and I shall be pleased to remedy this in my next report if the
information is brought to my notice.
I would like to acknowledge the help of all those too numerous
to mention in this preamble who have contributed to the information
for this section.
I would again draw your attention to the loyalty and fidelity of
the staff of this department and my appreciation of the help of the
Chief Officers and members of other departments whose help enables
this report to be completed ; and, finally, my thanks to the Chairman
and Members of the Public Health Committee for their support and
encouragement.
