Treatment of Sewers
Number of Manholes baited 435
Number of Poison takes 51
Only one maintenance treatment was carried out in May when
the poison takes represented 11.7% of the number of manholes baited.
The shortage of labour prevented the twentieth maintenance
treatment being carried out in October but it is hoped that the manholes
in this area will be added to the maintenance treatments to be
carried out in 1956/7 financial year.
