Ten smoke tests were applied to rat burrows which revealed
defects in drainage at live premises.
treatment of sewers
Sausage Rusk with Zinc Phosphide, and Bread Mash with
Arsenic were used alternately, in carrying out the maintenance
treatment of sewers.
In conjunction with Barnet Urban District Council, tests were
carried out at points where the Barnet sewers discharge into
Finchley sewers. Baits were observed over a period of five days
and no 'takes' were recorded.
