Tuberculosis
Fifty-eight cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were notified in
1950 as compared with 78 in 1949, and 9 non-pulmonary as compared
with 6 in the previous year.
Deaths from pulmonary tuberculosis decreased from 18 in
1949 to 14 in 1950 and the deaths from non-pulmonary decreased
from 5 in 1949 to 2 in 1950.
It is gratifying to note the downward trend in both
notifications and deaths.
