Domiciliary Midwifery
There are 3 Municipal Midwives all of whom are trained in
the administration of analgesia.
During the year they attended 90 cases as Midwives and 37
as Maternity Nurses.

Antenatal Exercises
These exercises are conducted with a view to making
confinements easier. During the year 35 mothers made 206
attendances.

Post-natal Clinic
This Clinic continued to serve a very useful purpose and the
mothers attending for examination totalled 255 in 1949 as compared
with 244 in 1948 and 237 in 1947.
Sunlight Clinic
During 1949, 100 children received courses of ultra-violet
radiation and made 797 attendances.
