Much attention has been given to the supervision of food and,
in this connection, there has been close co-operation between the
department and the Public Health Laboratory in an endeavour to
improve the methods of handling food and the washing of
crockery and utensils in canteens and restaurant kitchens.
I wish to express my thanks to all members of the staff for
their willing and total assistance throughout the year.
