Medical Treatment
Children requiring orthopaedic treatment or treatment for
defective vision and squint, minor ailments, etc., are dealt with
at the clinics provided under the School Health Services.
Premature Infants and Illegitimate Children
There has been no change in the arrangements for dealing
with these children.
During the year the deaths of 9 infants were attributed to
prematurity.
All the deaths took place in Institutions.
