Health Education.
Two hundred and fifty copies of "Better Health" have
been distributed monthly at the Infant Welfare Centres and
they are greatly appreciated.
The Council took part in the National Campaign to encourage
the wider use of the Health Services. Large posters
were exhibited on hoardings, small posters were placed on
the Council's boards and distributed to shops throughout
the Borough, and many thousands of folders were distributed
through the medium of the schools, welfare centres, and
many local organisations.
I regret to say that the tangible results produced by
these efforts at health propaganda were somewhat meagre.
