Disinfection.
Three years ago I reported to the Public Health Committee
that I was of the opinion that the disinfection of rooms
after the ordinary infectious diseases was of no value, except
where the house was dirty or verminous, and that the practice
might safety be stopped. The Committee agreed, and
the experience of the past three years has definitely confirmed
my opinion.
Infected bedding is still removed for steam disinfection.
