Tuberculosis.
During the year 54 new cases of pulmonary tuberculosis
were notified, comprising 28 males and 26
females. Fifteen non-pulmonary cases were notified,
consisting of 9 males and 6 females.
There were 17 deaths from pulmonary tuberculosis,
7 males and 10 females, and 9 deaths from non-pulmonary
tuberculosis, 7 males and 2 females.
In 7.7 percent, of the cases dying from tuberculosis
no previous notification had been received.
Dr. Dobson, the Tuberculosis Officer, has been good
enough to supply me with the following figures:—
