SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA.
Sewage Disposal Works.
No important addition has been made to these
works during the year. Samples of effluent from both
high and low level works have been submitted to
analysis periodically, and on occasions the effluent from
the low level has been unsatisfactory. This is entirely
due to the fact that these works are quite inadequate
to deal with the ever-increasing volume of sewage.
Plans have been approved by the Council for the necessary
extensions.
