The following changes in the Sanitary Staff have
taken place:— Mr. F. Hudson, the Senior Assistant
Inspector, resigned in November, 1925, to take up an
appointment as a Sanitary Inspector under the Willesden
Urban District Council. Mr. C. W. Newbery was
promoted to the position of Senior Assistant Inspector,
and owing to the general increase in work, particularly
in regard to meat inspection, the Council decided to
increase the staff of Assistant Inspectors from two to
three.
The officers appointed to fill the vacancies were
Messrs. T. J. Moore and J. Yates, who commenced
their duties about the end of 1925.
Mr. A. F. Steele resigned in March, 1925, to take
up an appointment as a Sanitary Inspector under the
Woking Urban District Council, and his position was
filled by Miss K. Nichol.
It is with much pleasure that I take this opportunity
to express my appreciation of the valuable help
given by the Assistant Inspectors and other members
of the Sanitary Staff in carrying out the work recorded
in this report.
I am, Mr. Chairman and Gentlemen,
Your obedient servant,
E. J. FRANKLIN,
Chief Sanitary Inspector.
