The following is a tabulated statement made in acoordance
with Articlc V. of the Regulations under the Housing,
Town Planning, etc., Act, 1909:—

Of the 442 houses above referred to—
156 wore let at an annual rental of £16 or under

22 were owned by occupiers.

Dirty and defective ceilings and walls; defective floors;
dampness; insanitary w.c.'s; windows not made to open;
insufficient wash-house accommodation; insanitary yards, etc.,
were amongst the most common of the defects discovered.
