ANNUAL REPORT
OF THE
MEDICAL OFFICER, FOR 1914.
The Urban District of Finchley comprises an area of
3,384 acres, with an estimated population in 1914 of 45,868.
There are 8 Public Elementary Schools (4 Council and 4
Non-provided), organised in 17 departments. These provide
accommodation for 5,627 children. The present number on
the registers is 4,660, with an average attendance of 4,132.
