It will be observed that the greatest increase lias occurred
in deaths from Cancer, there being 11 more than in the previous
year.
The number of deaths occurring at different ages is set
out in Table III., and also the number due to each cause.
More than 39 per cent. occurred after the age of 65 years,
and 15.3 per cent. occurred under the age of 1 year.
Deaths from Epidemic (or Zymotic Diseases).

The following table shows the number of deaths due Zymotic Diseases during the years 1912 and 1913:—
