Whooping Cough.
During the year 1908 the district has been comparatively
free from Whooping Cough.
This disease accounted for three deaths, as compared with
14 for last year and one for 1906. This gives a mortality rate
of .07 per 1,000 of the population, as compared with a
mortality rate of .38 for last year. All these deaths occurred
in children under the age of five years, and one occurred in
on infant under one year of age. Two of these deaths occurred
in February and one in July.
