sources and retailed in the Borough were obtained and
submitted for examination:—

Regular inspections have been made at the above
throughout the year.
E (2)d Ice-Cream
129 premises in the Borough are registered for the sale
of ice-cream.
There are 3 active manufacturers of ice-cream (2 bod
mix and 1 cold mix).
The Ice-cream (Heat Treatment etc.) Regulations 1959.
Bacteriological sampling.
Nine samples were obtained and forwarded for bacteriological
examination with the following result:—

There is one privately owned slaughterhouse in the Borough
in which slaughtering takes place daily, in the evenings
of at least three days, and on every Saturday and Sunday.
This slaughtering at irregular hours has been maintained
