D(16). The Rent Act 1957.
The majority of enquiries regarding this Act emanate
from tenants desirous of effecting rent reductions on account
of items of disrepair. In this respect, each case is
dealt with on its merits.
Action under the Act is enumerated below:—-

Number of Revocations applied for 3
Number of Revocations granted 4
No appeals, either by landlords or by tenants against
Local Authority decisions were made to the County Court
during the year.
