Bexley, Erith and Crayford Clean Food Traders' Guild
The formulation of the various codes of practice having
been completed by the end of 1951, invitations were sent to
food traders with a view to their applying for membership of
the Bexley, Erith and Crayford Clean Food Traders' Guild.
Resulting from an intensive clean food campaign, 21
Erith traders are now members of the Guild, and this number
of plaques has been issued. Many further applications are
under review, and when certain minor structural and other
improvements have been effected, there is every indication
that the membership of local traders will be considerably
increased.
