F (2)b Bacteriological Examination of Milk
Twelve samples of milk retailed within the Borough were
obtained and forwarded to the County Laboratory for examination
for effective pasteurisation.
All were reported upon satisfactory, and passed the
Methylene Blue and Phosphatase tests.
The following table indicates the number of licences issued by the Local Authority in 1949 under the Milk (Special Designations) Order, 1936.

During the year 18 ice-cream samples were procured and submitted to the Analyst with the following results:—
