I would further point out that Table III illustrates that
the chief killer in the last eleven months of the first year of
life, is Pneumonia, and that this admits of hope, for the special
treatment necessary lies within our compass.
I have included a table showing the Infantile Mortality at 5 year intervals for the past 25 years and for 1944.
