centre is for the most part advisory, and any ailments of serious
nature are referred to the private medical practitioner or to a
hospital for treatment.
Dried milks are supplied to the mothers, on the advice of
the Medical Officer, as a rule at cost price, but where the family
income falls below a stated figure, milk may be provided either
at half cost or free.
