PREVENTION OF DAMAGE BY PESTS ACT, 1949.
Two of the rodent operatives carried out sewer treatment by
Sodium Fluoracetate in damp coarse oatmeal involving 2,016 manholes.
The other two operatives dealt with surface infestations.
1,214 premises were inspected during the year, and of these
506 were found to be infested with rats or mice.
The total number of treatments carried out by the Department
including domestic, business and factory premises, was 506.
