PREVENTION OF DAMAGE BY PESTS ACT, 1949.
Two of the rodent operatives carried out sewer treatment by
Sodium Fluoracetate in damp coarse oatmeal involving 1,769 manholes.
The other two operatives dealt with surface infestations.
1,039 premises were inspected during the year, and of these
442 were found to be infested with rats or mice.
