INQUESTS
Fifty-nine inquests and two hundred and forty-eight postmortem
examinations without inquests were held during the year.
Of these, two hundred and forty-eight deaths were to due to
natural causes, thirty-eight to accidental causes, fourteen to suicide,
three to misadventure and in four cases an open verdict was recorded.
