HOSPITAL FOR INFECTIOUS DISEASES
During the year, the following cases were admitted from Enfield
to South Lodge Hospital.

DIPHTHERIA
For the thirteenth year in succession no case of Diphtheria
occurred in the Borough.
DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
2,141 children were immunised for the first time and 3,349
received reinforcing doses during the year.
WHOOPING COUGH IMMUNISATION
1,744 children were immunised against Whooping Cough for the
first time during the year, and 710 received re-inforcing doses.
POLIOMYELITIS VACCINATION
During the year, 5,908 people completed a course of three
injections, 6,488 received two injections, and 7,816 received a
fourth injection.
