DIPHTHERIA
For the fourth year in succession no case of Diphtheria occurred
in the District.
DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
1,341 children were immunised for the first time and 2,026
received subsequent reinforcing doses during the year.
These figures are lower than last year's figures. The number
of parents accepting this service for their children is not yet sufficiently
high to warrant any sense of security.
WHOOPING COUGH IMMUNISATION
757 children were immunised against Whooping Cough during
the year.
