DIPHTHERIA
For the third year in succession no case of Diphtheria occurred
in the District.
DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
1,624 children were immunised for the first time and 2,321
received subsequent reinforcing doses during the year.
Although these figures show an improvement on last year's
figures, the number of parents accepting this service for their
children is not yet sufficiently high to warrant any sense of security.
WHOOPING COUGH IMMUNISATION
774 children were immunised against Whooping Cough during
the year.
