CLEAN AND SAFE FOOD
A Clean and Safe Food Campaign was held during the period
7th to 12th May, 1951, and a full report of this Campaign was
given in my Annual Report for 1950, as the preliminary steps were
taken in 1950 and the Campaign week had been held prior to the
publication of my Report for 1950. Following upon the successful
conclusion of the Campaign Week, steps were taken to keep this
subject in the minds of the Food Trade and the public, and to
press for every possible improvement in the hygienic handling
and preparation of food.
Towards the end of the year the Committee decided to hold
another Campaign during 1952.
