The net death-rate for the District is 8.48 per 1,000 population
Two-hundred-and-seventy-four deaths registered in the District
were persons over 80 years of age, 98 being males and 176 females.
one man dying at the advanced age of 96, one woman at the same
age, and one other woman at the age of 100.
The following tables give the causes of deaths at all ages and
of children under the age of I year:—
