TONSILS AND ADENOIDS
Number of cases operated under the Authority's
Scheme 151
There was a marked reduction in the number of cases undergoing
operation for tonsils and adenoids during the year as
operations were suspended during the height of the anterior
poliomyelitis epidemic in the summer.
ORTHOPÆDIC CLINIC
This clinic continued to be held at Chase Farm Hospital but
since April two sessions a month have been held instead of one
as previously.
