DUSTBINS
The replacement of defective dustbins has been a difficult
problem for property owners in recent years.
During the past five years the Council has had in operation a
scheme whereby the Council purchased a quantity of bins through
local tradesmen, and delivered a new dustbin to any house on
payment of the cost and delivery charge.
This scheme appears to have met with approval by 71 owners
to whom dustbins were supplied during the year.
PUBLIC MORTUARY
There is now no public mortuary in Enfield, but use is made
at present of a Hospital Mortuary.
