CARDIAC CLINIC
Three sessions were held during 1946 with eighteen
attendances. Some children who are on the register were seen
in the course of routine inspection, and as their progress was
satisfactory they were not asked to make a special visit. Six
of the cases seen were discharged as needing no more supervision,
the heart having resumed its normal tone; these were post-febrile
conditions originally. There were two new cases of congenital
heart disease which had been previously diagnosed and had been
under supervision at the Infant Welfare Clinics
