SPEECH CLINIC
The arrangement whereby children can be referred to the
Speech Therapist for training continued throughout the year.
CHILD LIFE PROTECTION—PUBLIC HEALTH ACT, 1936
At the end of 1946 there were 14 persons receiving children for
reward; the total number of children concerned was 29.
Regular visits to these homes were paid during the year by the
Infant Life Protection Visitors (Health Visitors), and it was found
that the children were being properly cared for.
The following particulars show the work carried out at the Dental Clinics for ante-natal and nursing mothers and children under the age of 5 years for the year 1946:—
