INFANT MORTALITY
Of the 80 infants who died before attaining the age of one
year, 34 died within the first week of life. In 6 cases death was
due to Pneumonia, in 4 to Bronchitis, in 13 to Congenital malformation,
in 23 to Premature Birth and 14 to Enteritis.
On page 8 appears Table II which gives the ages and cause
of death of all children under the age of one year.
