Fifty-four children were examined under the Mental Deficiency
Act (1913) during 1942. These were scheduled as follows:—
Dull and backward but capable of instruction in
an elementary school 10
Mentally defective but capable of instruction in a
special school 8
Incapable of further instruction in a special school 2
Imbecile 11
Not scheduled (to be seen again) 13
