appreciated by the mothers and children of the district.
My report would not be complete without an expression of
thanks to the Chairman and Members of the Committee for their
co-operation during the year; to Mr. Apthorpe and Mr. Pascal,
who have directed education in Enfield during 1935 and have given
me their constant and valuable help ; and to every member of my
Staff, whose loyal help I much appreciate, and whose enthusiasm
in improving and maintaining the health of the children of Enfield
receives its greatest reward in the happiness it is able to create.
I am, Mr. Chairman, Ladies, and Gentlemen,
Your obedient servant,
D. H. GEFFEN,
School M edical Officer.
