SUPPLY OF INSULIN.
In November, 1935, permission was received from the Minister
of Health to supply Insulin to the poorer inhabitants of the District.
It is a drug used in the treatment of Diabetes, and is costly, in that
it has to be repeatedly used, sometimes daily.
One application was received from the parents of a boy aged
14 years who was suffering from Diabetes. After enquiries had been
made, it was determined to pay for the cost of a supply. The child
is being treated at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond
Street, from whom I receive reports concerning the progress of the
case, and I am pleased to report that such information as I have
assures me that the child's health is being maintained.
DISINFECTION OF VERMINOUS PERSONS AND THEIR

No requests were received during the year from the Education
