SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
The inspection of slaughterhouses and of animals slaughtered
therein takes up a large amount of the time of the Sanitary Inspectors,

Public Health (Meat) Regulations, 1925.
Systematic inspection of all butchers' shops and other premises
for the sale of meat and offal was carried out during the year.
With few exceptions it was found that the Regulations were

BAKEHOUSES.
All bakehouses in the District are inspected regularly.
OTHER FOODS.
Every shop selling provisions is inspected frequently.

The Sale of Foods and Drugs Act is under the control of the
Middlesex County Council.

Officer of the Public Control Department follows
