and in connection with these 110 inspections were made during
the year.
With regard to the Fish friers, 10 have been established with
the consent in writing of the Council and the majority of the oldestablished
bnsinesses have now been fitted with up-to-date frying
stoves.
MILK.
Frequent inspections were made of the Cowsheds, Dairies, and
Milkshops in the District, and every endeavour made to secure
compliance with the requirements of the Dairies, Cowsheds and
Milkshops Orders and Regulations in force in the District.

Licenses as follows were in force on the 31st December under the Milk (Special Designations) Order, 1922, Section 3 of the Milk and Dairies Amendment Act, 1922.
