SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE DISTRICT.
Water Supply.
With the exception of Hadley and Cockfosters, which derive
their water from the mains of the Barnet Gas and Water Company,
the District is almost entirely supplied by the Metropolitan Water
Board.
The supply of water, with the possible exception of some few
private wells in the rural portions of the District, is ample, the
quality good, and the supply practically constant.
