FOOD HYGIENE CONTROL
SLAUGHTERHOUSES
Six visits were paid and the carcases and organs of 4 pigs killed were
inspected during or shortly after slaughter. All were found to be fit for
human consumption. Slaughtering ceased at St. David's Hospital on 16th April,
1960.
MILK SUPPLY Various licences were granted as under:-

Supplementary licences are granted to retailers who live outside the
Borough, but who sell milk in the Borough; the Primary licence is granted by
the Authority in which the premises are situate.
The number of dairies registered at 31st December, 1960 was 9.
FOOD AND DRUGS ACT, 1955 - SECTION 16
During the year 6 premises were registered for the Sale and Storage
of Ice Cream.
