The number of children who died was 30 all legitimately born,
10 being males and 20 females. 26 of the deaths were in the first month of
life, giving a neo-natal mortality of 20.23.
The peri-natal mortality is the number of deaths under 1 week
and still births per thousand live and still births. The causes and ages of
death within certain limits are set out in Tables 5 and 6.
