HOUSING REPAIRS AND RENTS ACT, 1954
Certificates of Disrepair.
The following table gives details of the cases dealt with during the year 1956:—

SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
Nine visits were paid and the carcases and organs of 15 pigs killed
were inspected during or shortly after slaughter. None was found to be
affected with tuberculosis. Two carcases of which come part or organ was
condemned showed a percentage of the number inspected affected with disease,
other than tuberculosis, of 13.33.
The following organs were surrendered:—
Two sets of lungs.

Suplementary licences are granted to retailers who live outside the
Borough but who sell milk in the Borough; the primary licence is granted by
the Authority in which the premises are situate.
The number of Dairies registered at 31st December, 1956, was 9.

During the year 11 premises were registered for the Sale and St< of Ice Cream.
