COUNCIL'S EMPLOYEES.
During 1954 the Medical Officer of Health paid a total of 346 visits to
those employees who had been on the sick list for longer than a fortnight and
when necessary, at fortnightly intervals. Of these, 39 were " not at home "
and 16 had already resumed duty.
Also, during the year, 127 persons were examined prior to appointment to
permanent posts.
