NATIONAL ASSISTANCE ACT, 1948.
Section 47.—Removal to suitable premises of persons in need of care
and attention.
No action was necessary during the year under this Section.
Several cases were dealt with by the Public Health Department, and
admission to suitable premises was obtained without recourse of legal action.
ESTABLISHMENTS FOR MASSAGE OR SPECIAL TREATMENT.
Seven existing licences under the Middlesex County Council Act were
renewed during the year.

TUBERCULOSIS.

The table below gives details of the ages and sex of new cases of Tuberculosis, also deaths from the disease; this latter figure includes the deaths of non-notified cases.
