Petroleum (Regulations) Acts, 1928 and 1936.

During the year 6 new licences and 112 renewals were granted by the Council. The following is a list of particulars of quantities, etc., affected by these licences: —

Petroleum spirit429,894 galls.
Petroleum mixtures (cellulose)11,661 „
Carbide of calcium200 lb.
Rubber solution100 lb. + 750 galls.

Mortuary.
During the year 99 bodies were deposited in the Mortuary, 97 by order
of the Coroner and 2 for sanitary reasons.
