MILK (SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS) ORDER, 1936.
173 Samples of Designated Milks were examined in the Laboratory.
Results were as follows :—
Accredited Milk.
3 Samples were examined and all satisfied both the prescribed tests.
Pasteurised Milk.
69 Samples were examined and 65 satisfied both the prescribed tests.
1 Sample failed to pass both the Phosphatase Test and the Bacterial
Count Standard.
3 Samples failed to pass the Phosphatase Test only.
Tuberculin Tested Milk.
64 Samples were examined and 49 satisfied both the prescribed tests.
12 Samples failed to pass both the Methylene Blue and Coliform tests.
2 Samples failed to pass the Methylene Blue Test only.
1 Sample failed to pass the Coliform Test only.
