COUNCIL'S EMPLOYEES
During 1940 the Medical Officer of Health paid a total lumber of 304
visits to those employees who had boon on the sick list longer than a
fortnight and, when necessary, at fortnightly intervals. Of those 81
were "not at home" and 27 had already resured duty.
Also, during the year 12 persons wore examined prior to their
appointment to peramanont posts.
